This outlook has shaped the denim washes and effects as well as serving as inspiration for prints and colours. The processes in nature theme can be seen on the denim through fades and shades of fog and dust - both in colour ranges and washes. “In addition we have used a lot of coarse structures to give a feeling of earth or gravel. Focusing on non denim fabrics in denim styles give the possibility to use a wider palette of tones and colours, while maintaining a 5-pocket look”.
Colours are earthy and rusty with highlights of chlorofyll green and bright pink.
“For AW12 we are slowing down, focusing on the long cycles and evolution in nature. We have chosen a naturalistic approach, looking at the periodic table, natural history, DNA and fossils. The overwhelming transformation from dead plants to oil takes over 100 million years. The universe is monumental and puts our lives into perspective”.
